The Tenant's Guide to Online Viewings on Hemavi
Online viewings on Hemavi are designed for tenants who are moving from far away. It's a convenient way for you to see an apartment you are interested in, interact with your future roommates (if any), and speak to the landlord directly.
Because most of our tenants are moving in from abroad, and are not familiar with the rental process, a Hemavi rep will also be in the call to make sure that no important detail is overlooked β for your security and peace of mind.
So don't worry about missing anything important, we've got you covered!
1. Preparing for the Video call
LOCATION π‘ β Choose a quiet, well-lit place where you can focus on the video call without distractions. First impressions matter!
VIDEO CALL AND DEVICE π± β The video call will be held via Google Meet. If you're using a mobile device, make sure you have the 'Google Meet' app installed already.
2. During the Video call
INTRODUCTIONS π β Start by introducing yourself, why you're looking a new home, and why did you applied for this listing specifically.
ABOUT THE LANDLORD πββοΈ β What would you like to know about the Landlord? Let them tell you more about themselves.
HOUSE TOUR π‘ β The landlord will give you a digital tour of the place. Now's the time to ask any questions, or ask for any clarifications about anything like the room, the apartment or the amenities.
HOUSE RULES π£ β This involves all the 'house rules' β which could be any additional requirements on the landlord's end. For example, if you will be co-living, then things like shared responsibilities, quiet times, or cleaning schedules might be relevant.
CONTRACT π β The most important thing here is to talk about the potential move-in date & how long you intend to stay. Any other important thing regarding the contract will be ironed out with our Hemavi rep.
3. After the Video call
WHATβS NEXT? π€¨ β Take a couple of days to think about it. It's a big decision, we know. So sleep over it, compare your options and if you're ready - you can send a booking request via the platform.
